Enter the product name, type or manufacturer in the search box and click the search button.
.

Browse the product ranges by clicking on the ‘Clothing and accessories’ link on the top main menu or in the ‘Browse products’ list on the shop home page, and select the product area of your choice.
Click the orange product name link to see more details about your chosen product:
size guides,
reviews/FAQs, and
delivery and returns information.
You can also see who is supplying the product you’ve chosen, many of our leisure items are supplied by Snow+Rock for example. -
Finding digital maps
If you click on ‘Digital maps’ on the top main menu you can take out a subscription to Ordnance Survey getamap. To see the benefits of subscribing to getamap check the getamap user options page.
If you’re in getamap and order an A4 print or authored route, your account details and order processing will also be done in our shop area. -
Finding printed maps
To find Ordnance Survey paper maps, and maps from other publishers including guidebooks, atlases and historical maps you can:
Search
You can search the shop by:- the name of the product or series such as Explorer,
- an ISBN number if you know it - 10 or 13 digit with no spaces,
- a post code - enter the full post code eg SE1 7PB with a space,
- a National Grid Reference - eg TQ305799, or
- a place of interest – such as London Eye.
Enter your search term, select either the ‘current series’ or ‘all products’ option, then click the search button
.
Browse
You can browse through map publishers and types in the 'Browse products' area of the shop home page, or select the map category from the shop main menu.
Use the interactive map
Using the map on the left-hand side of the shop screen you can select the area you are interested in by:
- clicking to see a map of the area,
- using the plus or minus buttons to zoom in or out, then clicking on the ‘Update product list’ for your chosen zoom scale, and
- using the compass rose to shift the map to the north, east, south or west and then click on the ‘Update product list’ button to refresh the product results.
The search results on the right-hand side of the map will display all the products that ‘intersect’ the map area you’ve chosen. The order of the list is produced on a ranking formula based on how close the product matches the mapping in scale, coverage and location to the centre of the map.
If you get stuck you can start again, or click the ‘Home’ link in the top left of the shop main menu to go to the shop home page. The ‘breadcrumb’ trail on the left underneath the main menu can help by showing you where you are in the shop.

Payment methods
-
How can I pay?
Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards, or by PayPal.

-
Credit cards
You can use any of the following credit cards when placing your order: Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Mastercard, JCB, Diner’s Club, Maestro, Laser, Amex or Solo.
Please enter carefully:
- your card number - 16 digits without spaces,
- your name as it appears on the card,
- the expiry date, and
- the last 3-digit security code on the back of your card (the CV2 number).
If, when you click 'place order' after entering your card details, you see an error message asking you to enter further details, it may be that your browser window is too small for you to see all the mandatory boxes. Either use the scroll bar at the bottom of the window to scroll to the right, bringing the box into view, or maximize the browser window by clicking the button in the top right-hand corner of the window next to the x. -
CV2 security code
The card security code is a unique three digit number printed on the back of your credit or debit, often asked for as ‘the 3 numbers on the back’ if you’re ordering anything by phone. This number is not embossed on the card and hence not printed on receipts, making it difficult for anyone other than you to know it.

-
PayPal
PayPal is one of the safest, fastest and easiest way to pay for things online. It’s used on thousands of websites, around 235 million people are registered, and it’s very secure because your card and bank details are never passed to the vendor. It’s also free to use, and includes payment protection insurance.

With PayPal you use a credit or debit card, a balance that have in your PayPal account, or funds in a bank account that’s linked to your PayPal account to buy things online. If you choose to use PayPal you’ll be passed to the PayPal website to complete payment details, and then return to the checkout process for review and final
More information about using PayPal can be found on their website www.paypal.com/uk. -
3-D Secure
When you purchase products to the value of more than £100, or you want items delivered overseas another box will pop up asking you to set up or enter your 3-D secure password.
3D-Secure is an added level of security used by some card issuing banks that double checks and authorises your card. Visa has called their version of the scheme 'Verified by Visa' and MasterCard have called it ‘SecureCode'. If you’ve forgotten your 3-D Secure name or password, you can click the ‘Help’ link on the pop-up box, or contact your card issuer.
When you’ve finished entering your payment details, click the ‘Continue’ button - you may have to scroll down the page to see it. If you’ve entered something incorrectly, or there’s a problem with your card, you’ll see a message in red at the top of the screen.
Once you've successfully completed the 3D-Secure process you'll be returned to the shop checkout confirmation screen, and given your order number. -
Reviewing and submitting your order
Check the information you've provided and when you're ready, click the ‘Place order’ button to submit your order. We'll then send you a confirmation e-mail message to the email address you’ve provided in your account details.
